Anesthesia

Ligate both ends of vas deferens using the chromic catgut or the Endo surgical unit

After controlling of the small bleeders and close the scrotum with the fine interrupted absorbable suture and skin closure suture

Male sterilization is one of the permanent contraception methods used

#10 or #15 size blade

#3 BP handle

Curved Mosquito forceps

Straight mosquito forceps

Allis forceps

Babcock forceps

Adson forceps

Sponge holder forceps

Bowl for cleaning

Apply the gauze dressing for the scrotum

Sent the discarded parts of vas deferens for histological examination for further investigation and confirmation

After the surgery semen stored in the distal part o the vas deferens channels up to the period of 3 months

Its requires the ejaculation to empty the stored semen

Postoperative semen analysis confirms the presence of spermatozoa and confirmed the man as sterile
