Uses
To cut the conjunctiva-periotomy.
Types of conjunctival flap

Corneoscleral Extension Scissors
To extend the corneoscleral wound in ECCE/ICCE.
In ECCE the limbal wound extends from 10-20 clock position.
In ICCE the limbal wound should be larger than in ECCE, as the entire lens is being removed.

Badly injured eye to decrease the risk of sympathetic ophthalmitis
